Society Registration Services involve the process of registering a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in India. A society is a group of individuals who come together for a common purpose, typically related to educational, charitable, cultural, or social activities. Unlike companies, societies do not seek to generate profits for distribution among members but rather work towards fulfilling their specific objectives.

The registration process requires a minimum of seven members, and it involves drafting a Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Rules and Regulations of the society, which outline its aims, governance structure, and operational guidelines. These documents are submitted to the relevant state authority, which reviews the application and grants the society legal recognition upon approval.

Once registered, a society gains a separate legal identity, allowing it to own property, enter into contracts, and sue or be sued in its name. Societies also benefit from various legal exemptions, including tax benefits for non-profit activities. The registration helps in establishing credibility and allows the society to apply for grants, funds, and other support from the government or private organizations.
